Will an earthquake happen in Southern California because of the Baja California quake?

well southern california has already been affected by the earthquakes in baja california, however earthquakes are unpredictable. i think a couple minor shakes have been centered in Ocotilla, CA over the past couple of days. but "theory says" theres supposed to be a "big one" for california within the next 10 or 15 years that could cause lots of damage. i personally don't believe the thory.
