If you aspire to be a writer, you can help yourself by joining a writing workshop in your community. You can read your material and get constructive critiques from other writers. There are also on-line writing workshops. Do a Google search on this term: writing workshops online. Every writer that I know has benefited from a workshop setting. Good luck.
