Little help! I'm just trying to find out where can I get or download the 80's movie NEVER ENDING STORY part 1?

I really want this movie that originated during my childhood. I remember a horse sank into a bog while his friend, the one who rides him, have done nothing to save him but to cry while watching his horse friend slowly been eaten by the killer mud. It really touched me back then that's why this is the part that I remembered. There's also this mountain who talks of course, and the flying dog-like dragon something creature! I tried in all record bars but gave me no positive results. They told me that this movie have not been able to transfer into a VCD format (how pity, therefore also in a DVD format). Geez! There's no more betamax now! Help pls...
