1999 Ford Mercury Cougar 2.5v6 penger foot-well leak?

Hi, Ive owned the car for over a year and recently Ive found the penger foot-well is wet, I hoover the car fairly often and never noticed this before. I am wondering if it is from the heater core or outside, It doesn't seem to be leaking from the door seal. Thanks
