Martha Stewart Mummy's Sweet White Scones recipe has dissappointed me twice. Any best scones recipe please?

That's one thing I've personally never baked before, sorry. So instead I get my cravings satisfied at Starbucks with their 'petite vanilla scones'. They are sooooo yummy! Gotta get them early in the day though as they are so popular and sell out very fast.
