HELP NEED IN CALCULUS !!!!!! About Derivatives and trig functions?
HINTS :#1 TAKE a derivative, set it equal to the slope of the given line, solve for the angle , compute y at the point. #2 Remark : the point P is not on the curve...otherwise take a derivative, set it to "0" ,solve for x, then compute the y value for Q , use point-slope formula for the line...#3 you have the distance function and can certainly find the velocity [I ume you know what "velocity" means] , speed is absolute value of the velocity, and you know how to find acceleration given the velocity function, and "jerk" is the derivative of the acceleration function. Now do the work.
